Ingredients for 4 patties:
1 lb. hamburger
1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
5 to 7 slices bread
1 med. onion
2 stalks celery
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. sage

 

 Stuffed Hamburger Patties

Stuffed Hamburger Patties

Microwave on high chopped onion and celery for 5 minutes or until tender.

Add bread, (pinched into small pieces) salt, sage and enough water to moisten mixture.

Make 6 to 8, thin hamburger patties. Spoon dressing into center of patties. Fold patties in half, sealing edges.

Brown on both sides.

Place in casserole dish cover with soup and 1/2 can of water.

Bake for 30 minutes in 350 degree oven.
